Bring your knives back to its full potential.
All knives require sharpening at some point in time, much like cars require servicing. A blunt knife is inherently more dangerous to use than a sharp one, cutting should be done primarily with the knife's geometry.
"Let the knife do the work."
Consequently, blunt knives lead to more force than is actually required to perform the task and potentially more severe injuries.
A4 PAPER SIZE REFERENCE
I chose to use the A4 paper as a reference guide for the sharpening services as not everyone is familiar with the size of their knives, but I’m pretty sure everyone has an A4 paper lying around somewhere, more so than a ruler. Simply fold the A4 paper in half if necessary to find the closest match for the size of your knife.
For 5 knives and above there will be a 15% discount.
If knives falls within A (Refer to top image) and without chips:
S$8 per knife and if there are ≥ 5 knives it will be S$6.8 per knife
If knives falls within A (Refer to top image) and 2 has small chips:
S$11 per knife with chips and S$8 per knife without chips
If there are > 5 knives it will be S$9.3 per knife with chips and S$6.8 per knife without chips.
The final cost will be made known upon collection of the knives and an estimated time-frame will be provided depending on the condition(s) of the knife/knives.
Payment for knife sharpening will be via PayNow.
If there are multiple chips on the knife, only the largest chip will be used as a reference.
For knives with extra large chips (> 5mm), it will have to assessed on a case-by-case basis.
